Slide Wall Installation The slide wall is a reflective tapestry comprised of over 7,500 repurposed ZGF project slides integrated with the latest in flat screen technology. While sitting outside the slide library, I would always marvel at the beauty of the old technology, especially when viewed at on the light table or perched on the viewing panels in front of the light. When I was asked by my friend Gene to help tell ZGF's story within the new office, I immediately thought of using the slides. What better way to pay respect to the heritage of ZGF than to showcase their 50 years of work, light it up, dazzling for all to see. Integrated into the sea of slides are three large flat screen panels, showcasing current and future architectural design(3-D Animations, "fly-throughs", etc). My hope is that this installation reminds zgf-ers of their great legacy, as they move forward.
