12th and Washington Mixed Use Building In addition to the slidewall and the apartment lobbies, I was involved in a few other design elements of the building. I designed a three story minimalist, sunny mural for ZGF's office and selected the colors that it was painted; I also selected the colors and designed the paint scheme for the parking garage, with the intent of making it as simple, modern, bright and easy to navigate as possible. I designed all the signage throughout the office and oversaw the fabrication and installation which we did in-house. Also I concepted/designed the servery wall super graphic (a large white-on-white quotation by Bob Frasca on the importance of designing for your specific culture). At the onset of the project, I helped to guide a culture charrette and documented that process in a book, videos and website that was used as a guide for the architects during the design phase. This study was subsequently followed as a model for other buildings I worked on including the Portland Airport 's New Headquarters Building and Clif Bar's Headquarters.
